A quick walk around Laghetto Moesola at over 2000m at the San Bernardino Pass.

Date hiked: 22 May 2022. As a summer hike road is open from May to November, but you can also do winter hiking/snow shoeing around here in winter (coming up by foot from San Bernardino)

The San Bernardino Pass connects the Hinterrhein (German-speaking) and Mesolcina/Misox valleys – the north part is mostly German speaking whereas the south is Italian speaking
We spend a bit of time around this area and it’s beautiful. Not too much to say on this post other than this is a relaxed walk/hike with some different scenery. I’ve also hiked up to around here with snoeshows once in winter, and it’s also incredibly beautiful then.
